“Thunder Every Day,” a hybrid narrative/documentary on the lost portrait artist Larry Stanton, is now in pre-production by filmmaker Roland Tec (“We Pedal Uphill,” “All The Rage”). The film showcases Stanton’s highly individual portraits and the period-perfect Super 8 films he shot during in New York City and on Fire Island during the 70s and early 80s. Funds are needed needed to complete “Thunder Every Day.” (This sizzle reel hints at the impact of the finished work.)
